Dayflower

Terms of use

Last updated 17 October 2026

These terms apply to the Dayflower: Days Until & Since app (“Dayflower”), developed by Anees Studio (“we”). By using Dayflower you agree to them. They sit alongside the terms of the store you got it from: on iPhone, Apple’s standard licence agreement; on Android, the Google Play terms. If they disagree about a purchase, the store’s terms win.

Using Dayflower

Dayflower is free to use, with Dayflower Pro as an optional extra. Every date, widget size, both Paper and Color widget styles, reminders, holiday dates, backup, export and restore are free, with no ads. You may use it for your own purposes. Please don’t copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app.

About the counts and reminders

Dayflower counts calendar days, not hours, in your phone’s time zone: tomorrow is “1 day” away all day today, and the counts change at your local midnight. A yearly date on 29 February falls on 28 February in years without one; a monthly date on the 31st falls on the month’s last day. Holiday dates are worked out on the phone for the United States.

Reminders are delivered by your phone’s notification system and depend on its settings, focus modes and battery saving; on Android they may arrive a few minutes late. Dayflower is a personal planner, not a legal, medical or financial calendar: check any deadline that matters elsewhere, and don’t rely on Dayflower alone for one.

Your data

Your dates live on your phone. Keep a copy if they matter to you: Dayflower keeps the last ten versions on the phone and lets you export a file at any time, and your phone’s own backup can include them. We can’t recover dates that were lost with a phone, because we never have them. See the privacy policy.

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features over time. If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page; if the change is significant, we’ll say so in the app.

Liability

Dayflower is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the app, including from a count or a reminder you relied on. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of Dayflower, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in them limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live. If a part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
